How this adds up

The number we show is the market price: the median of fixed-price sales for each club, added up. That is what the bag costs to buy today, and what a patient seller can ask. It is the figure most people mean by what a bag is worth.

The auction line underneath is the same bag sold the fast way. An auction closes on its date at whatever the market pays, so it runs lower. Treat it as the floor, not the value.

An iron set counts as its clubs. A 5-PW set is six clubs in the count, priced as one set, because that is how sets trade.

Where a club has too few auctions for a reliable auction price, the market price stands alone. Prices come from completed eBay sales in the last 90 days and are updated weekly, so a bag valued today will read differently in a month. Read the full method.
